Every Ford vehicle sold in South Africa will be covered by a comprehensive four-year or 120,000 km warranty, three-year or unlimited km roadside assistance, and a five-year or unlimited km corrosion warranty.

Hill adds, “Customers have the flexibility to choose where to service their vehicle, but it’s important that they become familiar with the guidelines. For example, if you choose to service your vehicle outside of the Ford dealer network while you have a Ford Protect Plan service in place. In this case, Ford is not obligated to pay independent service providers (ISPs) for the services rendered. The cost of the ISP will be for your own account – and while the Ford warranty remains in place, if there is a failure due to parts used or the workmanship of the ISP, this part of the repair may not be covered by the Ford warranty. . “
